Sphynxx is a fully integrated software system, designed by Simac Business Applications, that enables traffic management- and law enforcement operators to issue e-citations, control all administration and co-ordinate on-street staff from a central operational location. Sphynxx is a Windows based system designed for continuous operation in high volume environments. Using a large scalable database engine it is designed to handle millions of transactions. Sphynxx software is available in most European countries and is currently used by all major cities / councils in The Netherlands and in the cities of London and Athens.

With the introduction of the Sphynxx mobile ANPR / ALPR  scanning package, which seamlessly integrates with the handheld solution, superb enforcement efficiency is within reach for all cities / boroughs that aim to reduce costs whilst increasing enforcement ratio.

The user based pricing or the database engine does not preclude Sphynxx from being used in smaller boroughs. The multi customer capability of Sphynxx means that several small boroughs can share a system by means of ASP service on a "pay as you ticket" basis helping to reduce costs.
