The scanning system

The Sphynxx mobile ANPR solution consist of the following components :

• Solid state PC which can be mounted under the seat of a motorbike or in the trunk of a car

• 2 - 4  cameras in waterproof casing with integrated infrared lights and with a functioning range up to 25 meters

• Optional filters on camera that filter out daylight

• indicator lights and 3 operating buttons on the steering wheel

• Isolated power supply, 12 volt battery, galvanic separated from the on-board battery

• 12/24 volt transformer for battery and camera feed

• USB GPS receiver (GlobalSat Bulkhead)

• GPRS/UMTS connection

• WiFi unit

• USB Authorisation Token (USB stick)
