Back office system

Sphynxx software is designed to be flexible. The software on the handheld computer is configured from the back office system running on the network. Changes can be made quickly and easily and those changes will be loaded into every Sphynxx terminal next time it is connected. This ensures that all machines have the same instructions, and operational changes can be made without the need to revise the software. Supplementary information can be vital when prosecuting an offender. Sphynxx is intelligent in that it asks the appropriate questions of the officer for each offence and captures this for evidence.

In addition to this Sphynxx prevents the duplication of tickets and covers the debt recovery process to ensure all fines are tracked through to fulfilment. The system will greatly simplify the parking management process, eliminating overnight downloading, ticket number duplication and drawn-out dispensation processing amongst other benefits resulting in lower administration costs and greater efficiency and productivity of manpower.

All access to the Sphynxx back office system is browser based allowing for information only to be visible if the relevant access has been granted. It allows the granting and revoking of detailed access restrictions by supervisor users to other users and groups. Access restrictions consist of disabling objects on the screen such as menu options, buttons or editable values.

Full comprehensive audit log facility, listing all operations performed by users including unsuccessful login attempts and all changes to the database. The audit log can be searched by any field and is strictly read-only. It is only available to users of a high level.

The system holds details of all employees including PCO’s and Office Staff. Historical details can be deactivated, remaining on the system as a record.
