Dutch market share rapidly growing through TMC partnership
October 2009 we announced our partnership with TMC, the
leading distributor of pay-and-display machines in the Dutch market. The product
portfolio of TMC further consists of enforcement solutions and mobile phone
parking operations under the brand name of Yellow Brick.
Before
signing the distribution agreement for the Sphynxx suite of enforcement products
for the Dutch market, TMC have been the sole Dutch distributor of Schweers
Politess® and Ticketman®
handheld computers.
Due to the increasing "digitalization" of parking in The
Netherlands TMC were looking for a proven solution that would suit today's and
future demands of their customers.
Today we are proud to announce that our partnership has
already proven to be a very successful one. The following 10 cities have been
implemented in the last 6 months: Alkmaar, Bussum, Goes, Zeist, Oud-Beijerland,
Maastricht, Venlo, Wageningen, Culemborg and Venray; a major achievement, again
proving TMC's and Simac's dedication to this partnership and the quality of the
Sphynxx solution.

Dutch police force operational on Sphynxx
In 2009 discussions about the
Sphynxx implementation with the Dutch police force of Gelderland Zuid started.
What looked to be a straight forward implementation of our software ended up a
as a very special cooperation between the Dutch police, Simac
and Motorola. January 2010 we
finished the implementation and in May the police
wrote an article about the project in their monthly magazine. Needles to say
that we are very proud of their positive comments about this special
partnership. For the full English translation

City of The Hague on Sphynxx
The Hague is the third largest city in the Netherlands and being the city that
is the home to the Dutch central government, the international court of law and
most embassies, The Hague has its own specific problems in implementing and
enforcing parking regulations. That is why they have chosen for the flexibility
of Sphynxx.Just before Christmas the training of all
enforcement officers and backoffice personal, and the roll-out of 80 new hand terminals were completed.
Now all but one of the 6 major cities in The Netherlands, together with 30
smaller cities, are using Sphynxx software and equipment.
Within a month after completing the implementation the production (number of
tickets issued) in The Hague has doubled, again a proof of the user friendliness
and ease of use of the Sphynxx software.
