Simac Techniek nv
Simac, formed in 1971 by Mac van Schagen and quoted on the Amsterdam stock
exchange since 1986, has grown from a one-man business into a medium sized
company.
A total of 900 people
are employed, distributed across multiple offices. Eric van Schagen, Mac van
Schagen’s son, took over ultimate responsibility for Simac in 1989.

As a technology company,
Simac Techniek NV is active in the Benelux and Central Europe. Simac implements
and maintains high-quality technology in medium-sized and large companies, that
is used to improve company operations.
Simac wishes to operate in a professional,
honest, reliable, flexible and result-orientated manner towards the client and
all other interested parties.
Simac distinguishes the following business
segments:

infrastructures: design, implementation and exploitation;

applications: consultancy, building customised applications and managing
them;

Industrial Electronics and Automation: providing products, projects and
services.
In
addition to the core activities Simac Techniek has shareholdings in several
technology companies. The purpose of this is to start new activities and to
explore new technologies with limited investments. After some years these
shareholdings are added to the core activities or sold.
